How to Get on TV

July 21, 2009 by Diana · Leave a Comment

Upgrading your image can lead to MANY opportunities, including requests to be on tv. I’ve seen it time and again with both my clients and myself, and am often astounded at how quickly things can happen once you polish our image and “put yourself out there.”

At first, you get excited.  Be on TV?  It’s a WONDERFUL opportunity!  Then, you get nervous.  How will you look on camera?  Will you say something stupid?  What if you make a fool of yourself for all the world to see?

It’s a valid concern.  After all, media training just isn’t in everyone’s arsenal — or budget.  Got a few thousand laying around and a weekend to spend in New York to “learn the ropes” of tv training?  Great!  You should do fine.  No?

Then let me direct you to an excellent resource:  TV Image Live.

TV Image Live is media training for “the little guy.”  This comprehensive home-study resource by Deborah Boland and JoJami Tyler will walk you through, step-by-step, what you need to say and do to make the best impression possible.  From practicing interview questions to picking out your wardrobe, these two media veterans (Deborah had her own lifestyle show on HGTV Canada, JoJami has acted with Burt Reynolds and Quentin Tarantino) will teach you everything you need to know to make a successful television debut.

Want to get on TV but don’t have an invite?

Again, this resource can help.  If you want to promote your business on TV - or even become a televised expert in your field – Deborah and JoJami can teach you everything you need to know, from how to get booked and be camera-ready to how to become a regular guest.  For about the cost of a nice dinner for four, you could have the means to a lucrative second income or career.

Take a look at TV Image Live and see for yourself.
