Petite Clothing – A Thing of the Past?

First it was Petite Sophisticate and Casual Corner.  Now it’s Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s.  They’re doing away with their petite departments to make room for trendier labels and clothes.

This New York Times article tells all about the demise of the petite clothing market.

So what’s a petite gal to do?  Aside from buying big and tailoring to size, or having clothes custom-made, there are still a few places that offer petite sizes, including these petite clothing retailers.  It’s not a lot, but it’s something!
