Then head to the 8th floor of Saks Fifth Avenue in Midtown.  They’ve unveiled the largest shoe department in New York City, featuring 10,000 pairs.  Whatever your fancy, whatever your budget, you’re sure to find something you like.

CEO Steve Sadove, Debra Messing, and Phillip Block cut the ribbon in the new Saks’ Shoe Department.Actress Debra Messing (“Will and Grace”) and Stylist-to-the-Stars Phillip Bloch helped Saks’ CEO Steve Sadove cut the ribbon to the new department, which has been under construction for nearly eighteen months. Ms. Messing then promptly made the first purchase of the day, a a pair of black crêpe Louboutin peep-toe pumps for $950. Mr. Bloch was less decisive, trying on dozens of styles, including a few womens’ heels. Go figure.
